Dr. Ishrat Husain, Sarah Nizamani, Shagufta Shabbar and Masood Siddiqui
Dr. Ishrat Husain was until recently a member of the Federal Cabinet as Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Earlier he had served the World Bank in senior positions including Director and Chief Economist; State Bank of Pakistan as Governor; IBA Karachi as Dean and Director. Among more than two dozen books he has authored the two noteworthy are Governing the Ungovernable and Pakistan: The Economy of an Elitist State. He is recipient of the highest civilian award Nishan-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz conferred by the President of Pakistan.
