DR. FAROOQ BABRAKZAI is the son of Said Akbar, the assassin of Pakistan's first Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan. He was born in North Waziristan and studied in various international locations, including Abbottabad, Kabul, Beirut, and Honolulu, before becoming an educator and author. Babrakzai has written a book, The Assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan: A Critical Look at the Early History of Pakistan, 1947-1952, which provides a family member's perspective on the assassination.
