Fatima Ijaz (Author):
Fatima Ijaz is a poet, essayist, and short story writer, and the author of The Shade of Longing (2021) and Last of the Letters (2024). Her work has appeared in Kyoto Journal, The Aleph Review, and several anthologies. A featured reader at the Karachi Literature Festival (2020–2025), she holds an MA from Rutgers University and contributes to Pandemonium Journal and Tales from Karachi. Originally from Karachi, she now lives in Pennsylvania.
Taha Kehar (Author):
Taha Kehar is a novelist, journalist, and literary critic, best known for No Funeral for Nazia (2023) and Typically Tanya (2018). His short fiction and essays have appeared in leading journals and anthologies, and he co-edited The Stained-Glass Window: Stories of the Pandemic from Pakistan. Based in Karachi, he curates Tales from Karachi, teaches undergraduate courses, and is working on his next novel.
