Nathalia Westmacott-Brown was born in 1971, to parents who worked as freelance travel photographers. By the age of 10, accompanied by her two sisters, her family had traveled to over 40 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. Her exploration of the Outer World continued well into her adult years with long trips to the USA, Central and South America. It wasn't until a health crisis in 1999 prompted a phase of self-reflection, that she discovered the advantages and benefits of voyaging into the Inner World through Conscious Breathing.
A synchronistic encounter with internationally re-known Rebirther Christina Artemis in 2000, set her on the path to learn the practice of Rebirthing Breathwork as established by pioneers Leonard Orr and Sondra Ray. Her 3-year apprenticeship included extensive training in Rebirthing and Shamanic Ritual Theatre after which she was voted in as Chairperson for the British Rebirth Society (BRS), the UK organisation for professional standards. Exposure to complimentary breathwork modalities and influences came in with teachers Heinz Gerd Lang and Jane Okondo of the InBreath institute who offered her 2 years of teacher training experience which included exposure to the benefits of Transformational Breathing, Holotropic, Voice Dialogue, Humanistic Counselling, Gestalt and Bodywork awareness.
The International Breathwork community opened up to Nathalia, when she attended the Global Inspiration Conference (GIC) in Russia in 2006. She was accepted as a Member of the Council, and remained in a leadership position in the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF) for nine consecutive years. Responsibilities included organising conferences and promoting the benefits of breathwork in countries all around the World. Her position prompted an invitation to train at The Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia to deepen psychic intuition capabilities through endurance training.
Nathalia's personal contribution to building International Conscious Breath networks, has been through the creation of the Breathing Circle, which she started in 2018. This growing community is affiliated to the IBF, as an active global network of qualified breath workers in regular practice. There are currently 89 practitioners in 23 countries listed who are dedicated to hosting a monthly breathing circle on the last Tuesday of the month all around the World.
Back home, Nathalia advances her passion to spread conscious breathwork through running the Breathwork Training Program, an intensive course for those wishing to qualify as breathwork practitioners in the UK. Over a period of 2-3 years she works closely with apprentices, or those seeking deep personal transformation, at her organic small-holding "The Greenery" on the edge of the Cotswolds. This 4-acre orchard is also home to her 12-year old home educated daughter Iris, her trusted assistant Elf and many rescue animals who support the breathwork training & healing workshops.
