Dr. Muzaffar Ali Isani started his career in the Pakistan Army after receiving a commission at the Pakistan Military Academy in 1965. Не resigned his commission in 1972 following the fumultuous events of 1971. He then moved to the United States and earned a Ph.D. from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, specializing in Political Economics. He has taught Economics and Business at various institutions. Additionally. he has been involved in business and industry. Dr. Isani is engaged in several educational, literary, and social causes and is the Chief Executive of the Zeenat Isani Institute of Medical Sciences in Shikarpur, Sindh. a charitable trust and hospital founded by Dr. Zeenat Isani. He has been active in the local politics of Taluka Garhi Yasin, where he also manages the family's farm.
