Dr Madeleine Pownall is Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Leeds (UK). Her research centres around critical feminist theory, social psychology, and psychology pedagogy (i.e., teaching and learning). She is also a Fellow of the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence, a member of the Psychology of Women and Equalities Section of the British Psychological Society, and the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues.
