Eskandar Sadeghi-Boroujerdi is a Lecturer in the International Relations of the Middle East (West Asia) in the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. He has previously taught at the University of York, Goldsmiths, University of London, the University of Oxford, SOAS, University of London, and the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. From 2016 to 2019, he was a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he also received his doctorate.
