Carrie Schmitt is an artist, author, and creative guide who helps people heal and reconnect with their creative spirit. Her newest book, Awakening Creativity: A Sacred Journey to Reclaim Your Inner Artist (Hierophant Publishing), invites readers to experience Creativity as a path to joy, wholeness, and spiritual renewal.
A full-time artist for over sixteen years, Carrie has guided thousands of women through her online courses and in-person retreats. Her work has been featured in BBC News, Where Women Create, Spirituality & Health, In Her Studio, and Cloth Paper Scissors. Through her art and teaching, she celebrates Creativity as a living relationship—one that can transform not only how we make art, but how we live and love.
Carrie lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she paints surrounded by flowers and believes that Creativity, when honored, becomes a lifelong companion and sacred teacher.
