Miguel Parga has been in the industry for 25 years.
Working for ABC Network News he won an Emmy, a DuPont Award, and a Peabody Award for excellence in journalism.
He's created advertisements for Pepsi, Canon, Fisher Price, Bud Light, Verizon and others. As a writer in Los Angeles, he's worked on over 20 feature-length scripts. He's also directed 21 short films, some that have been in festivals all over the world.
Since 2007, he's taught acting, directing, writing and editing at the New York Film Academy, and was the director for their Harvard University and Mumbai summer programs.
His first novel Blood Laws was published in 2013 by Anaphora Literary Press.
Miguel is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association.
He’s also an accomplished martial artist with over 30 years of experience. He was Puerto Rican Karate champion as well as North East Regional and National Kung Fu Champion.
