Rachael Katz, MEd, discovered her calling as a child when she spent a day on a children’s TV show counting with a big, blue, furry friend who adored cookies. Laughing with a monster as he ate the cookies the cookies while he counted, she discovered that learning could be engaging and full of wonder. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion for helping children learn through curiosity, play, and emotional connection. With more than twenty-five years as an educator and school leader, she now brings that same spirit to her books.
