Jo Stewart is a Melbourne-based writer whose words and images have been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Saturday Paper, VICE, yen, Vacations and Travel, and International Traveller. From sailing to Antarctica in a yacht, to walking the dunes of the Simpson Desert with a caravan of camels, Jo has worked on expeditions to some of the world’s most isolated, unforgiving places, including working on the Shackleton: Death or Glory documentary project that screened worldwide on Discovery Channel, SBS and PBS. Born with an eye for the absurd, Jo’s teenage years were spent reading about cults, conspiracy theories and unsolved mysteries….and nothing much has changed in adulthood.
