Iftikhar Ahmed Soomro is the founder of HMB Trust, which was founded in 1990.
He is also the founder of Shikarpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr. Soomro's current jobs include being the Chief Executive Officer & Director at Beebul Rice Mills (Pvt) Ltd., HMB Mills (Pvt) Ltd., and Wyeth Pakistan Ltd. He is also an Independent Director at Mehran Sugar Mills Ltd. and a Member-Governing Body at Sukkur Institute of Business Administration.
Additionally, he serves as a Trustee at Karachi Grammar School and is a Member-Governing Body at Nasra Public School Pvt Ltd. In the past, Mr. Soomro held positions as the Chief Executive Officer & Director at Sind Fine Textile Mills Ltd., an Independent Non-Executive Director at Matco Foods Ltd., and the President of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association.
Mr. Soomro completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Karachi.
