Dr. Syed Shakir Ali Shah was born in Khairpur Mir's Sindh and was educated from same region. He did his Master Degree in Archaeology from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur and later completed his M.Phil and PHD research from same department of Archaeology Shah Abdul Latif University
