Hello! I wrote Bloom and Storm.
I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I had an idyllic early childhood watching telly, reading comics and going to the beach. When I was nine, I moved to Britain and have stayed here ever since.
As a journalist and copywriter, I wrote for tabloids, broadsheets, charities and women's magazines, before starting my first children's novel, 'Bloom'. I live in a small village outside Bristol with my husband and daughter and dog who has a frankly terrifying unbridled passion for eating my socks and favourite tights.
My favourite place to write is the garden shed which I post pictures about regularly on instagram when I should technically be working. When I'm not writing or posting pictures of my shed I'm usually at the vets.
