Muhammad Ayub Khan was a Pakistani military officer who served as the President of Pakistan from 1958 to 1969. He is the author of the political autobiography Friends, Not Masters (1967), which offers his perspective on his life and career. Other works include Diaries of Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan and collections of his speeches and interviews like Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan: Vision for Pakistan, Impressions, and Reminiscences.
