Dr. Ilyas Chattha teaches History at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Educated at the universities of Warwick and Southampton (UK), he is a historian spe cializing in South Asia. Before joining LUMS, Dr. Chattha was based at the University of Southampton, where he received his PhD in 2009. He is the author of Citizens to Traitors Bengali Internment in Pakistan, 1971-1974 (Cambridge, 2025) and Partition and Locality (Oxford, 2012).
