Alison Goodman is an Australian writer of books for young adults. Goodman's debut novel Singing the Dogstar Blues won an Aurealis Award for best young-adult novel. In July 2007, her adult crime thriller Killing the Rabbit was published in the United States and was shortlisted for the Davitt Award.
