To win her female characters' hearts, her fictional guys have to have rock solid integrity and swoonworthy credentials. Kathy lives in a village close to Cambridge. She met her own romantic hero - quite some time ago! - during freshers' week at university and is happily hitched. Most of the time she writes at her untidy desk, supervised by Mabel the cake thief, a mischievous small dog who forces her to go outside for walks on a regular basis. If not for Mabel, she would probably spend her entire day over-invested in fictional worlds. Millie, an elderly cat she got from an ice cream farm as a kitten, also kindly keeps Kathy company when she's writing.
