Jo is an Author-Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Wiltshire who now lives in South West London with her husband and two children. They have a Goldendoodle called Maple and a cat called Tink who try their best to get along! Jo was a very creative child. She always loved making art, so she knew it would be a big part of her future. She went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at Bath Spa University and went on to become a Graphic Designer, working for many years in the music industry. Jo has written and illustrated six picture books, one of which was given a teacher’s choice award and is now on the Literary Tree’s best picture book list. Her children are a big inspiration to her writing and travelling to colourful and interesting places always ignites her creativity. She loves to keep a sketchbook whenever she goes away and comes up with her best ideas when sat on a plane! Jo has a rich, vibrant style and likes to use a mixture of painterly inks and watercolours alongside digital techniques. She is an avid podcast listener when she works and in her spare time she enjoys practising yoga, skiing and dancing around her kitchen whilst cooking.
