Rubina Faisal was born in the city of Faisalabad (Lyallpur) in Pakistan. His early education was from Koh Noor Grammar High School, Faisalabad and after that his family shifted to Lahore forever. FSC from Government College Lahore for Girls, BCom from Hailey College Lahore and English Literature from FC College Lahore. During his job in Punjab Bank, he did DIPP Diploma of State Bank of Pakistan and worked as Grade 2 Officer for four years. During this time, she got married to Faisal Mehmood. She migrated to Canada with her family in 2000. Now she is living a peaceful life in Kol, Canada with her husband, one daughter and three sons. He started writing regularly after coming to Canada. In 2011, a collection of columns “Roti Khai Murtiyan” was published.
