I am Hiba Aamer. I am an English language poet from Pakistan. I am also a graduate student of English literature and linguistics from Air University (Islamabad). I have a micro-chapbook, 'Grief is a Firefly' published by Origami Poems Project, 2021. My poem "Morning Prayer" is the First Runner-up for New Feathers Award, US, 2021. My poems have appeared in Fragmented Voices, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Wild Word, The Ofi Press, among others. I have also written reviews, critiques, poems and articles for Daily Times in the past. I was a voiceover artist for DIY videos on social media in 2020. I often edit and proofread different texts as a freelancer. I am equally adept in transcribing English verbal discourse. My interest is in creative writing, content writing, editing, proofreading, media-related jobs and transcribing as well as teaching. My first poetry book, Birth of a Mural' will be published by the US-based Golden Dragonfly Press soon.
