Sophie Rochester is the CEO and founder of social venture Yodomo, the platform for makers and craftspeople to share creative skills and create additional revenue streams for their businesses. Yodomo was awarded Highly Commended, Arts & Culture at the Tech for Good Awards 2021, and was nominated for Seedrs ‘Seedling of the Year’ 2019. Harper’s BAZAAR has dubbed Yodomo ‘best for aspiring artisans’. Sophie is listed as a Top 10 British Council UK Creative Entrepreneur on the Guardian Professional hClub 100 list and in the FutureBook 40: The Bookseller's definitive list of publishing innovators in the UK 2018. Before Yodomo, Sophie founded The Literary Platform, now part of Exeter University and worked for over two decades in digital, content strategy, and publishing. She has spoken globally on culture and technology at UNESCO Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tools of Change New York, Frankfurt Book Fair, Bologna Book Fair, Editech Milan and London Book Fair.
