Julianna Miner is an adjunct professor of global and community health at George Mason University. With twenty years' experience in the field of public health, she has served as the director of social marketing for the Alabama Department of Public Health and the strategic planning director of the Fairfax County Health Department. Miner is also the creator of the popular parenting blog Rants from Mommyland, Parents magazine's funniest blog of 2013, and was named one of Babble's 10 Best Humor Bloggers.
