Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi is an Associate Professor of Education at Department of Educational Research & Assessment, Faculty of Education, University of Okara. He is Chairman of the Department of Educational Research & Assessment (DERA) from April 01, 2016 to date. He is Chairman/Convener of the Board of Studies (BOS) of the Department of Educational Research & Assessment. He earned his doctorate in education (PhD) from Institute of Education & Research (IER), University of the Punjab, Lahore. In his PhD his specialization was Educational Leadership and Management. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi has more than 32 publications in National and International HEC recognized Research Journals. In 2013, he contributed to the book published entitled Conflict Management Styles and Organizational Environment: Lambert Academic Publication, Germany. (Amazon.com). He attended training workshop on information management system organized by HEC at IBA Karachi in august 2015. He also attended training course on Quality Assurance in Education organized by Canada Pakistan Basic Education Project Lahore in 2008. He is one of the most senior faculty members of the University of Okara. He served as Head of the Department of Education (2012-2015) in University of Education, Okara Campus. He has been teaching M.Phil. Education and PhD Education in University of Education, Okara Campus. After the establishment of University of Okara, he joined University of Okara. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi has supervised 02 PhD Students and more than 50 M.Phil Students in his career. He has been Paper Reviewer for Journal of Educational Sciences and Research: University Of Sargodha, Journal of Educational Research (JER): The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Bulletin of Educational Research (BER): IER University of the Punjab Lahore. He is serving as coordinator of PhD Programme in Faculty of Education, University of Okara. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi is also serving as Director Research in University of Okara. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi delivered lectures to College Teachers under the training program of Higher Education Department, Punjab. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi organized two days 1st annual workshop on “Emerging Trends in Research & Data Analysis” on 27th – 28th February 2017 at Faculty of Education University of Okara. He organized two days 2nd annual workshop on “Emerging Trends in Research & Data Analysis” on 25th – 26th February 2018 at Faculty of Education University of Okara. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan Farooqi successfully organized 1st National Conference on Multidisciplinary Research 2019 (NCMR-2019) from March 27-28, 2019 in University of Okara. He served as the Conference Secretary in NCMR-2019.
