aheem Sardar is currently a Senior Policy Specialist with the Government of Pakistan, focusing on economics, among other aspects. Prior to this he was the Managing Director of TANGENT which is an economics think tank & corporate advisory. Previously he was the Chief Executive Officer of Askari Securities Ltd in Pakistan, for 9 years, which is a leading brokerage and investment house in Pakistan. He was responsible for its restructuring and new dynamic. He has extensive experience in policy, planning, envisioning, implementation, change, restructuring, stabilizing, growth, asymmetry and in dealing with problems. He has indepth experience in the capital market and has also served in the capacity of a regulator. He is on the faculty of the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance as a trainer, and is involved in Director’s training in Corporate Governance & Leadership Skills. He speaks on electronic media regarding finance, economics, markets, related aspects and also societal dynamics.
